The 3D-ToolComp option delivers powerful, three-dimensional tool-radius compensation. Angle-dependent delta values can be defined in a compensation table. These values describe the tool’s deviation from an ideal circular shape. The TNC then compensates for the radius that is defined for wherever the tool is currently touching the workpiece.
